New laboratory space
In order to meet the increasing demand Syncom has recently opened a new state of the art laboratory in an adjacent building in which 350 m2 labspace has been fully equipped to house 10 synthetic chemists.
Syncom employees
In 2007 Syncom has so far hired 16 new chemists. The company expects to hire at least 20 in total this year. Further growth for 2008 is anticipated.

Rapid Resolution LCMS TOF
To cope with the increasing demand for LCMS capacity in the analytical department, Syncom recently installed an Agilent 1200 series Rapid Resolution LCMS. This state of the art system is capable of acquiring very high resolution data in extremely short analysis times. In combination with a Time Of Flight mass detector, compounds can be identified based on their exact mass data.
Syncom-Chemelot
Syncom, specialized in contract research in organic synthesis, has opened a new facility on the Chemelot Campus in Geleen (NL).
